Spectacular and stunning are two words I would use to sum up Cherryfish, the newest of the 8 Pineapplefish properties on Anna Maria Island.
Perfect Family Amenities
Fortunate enough to stay here with my family in 2013, we enjoyed all the amenities and location that this amazing house offered. It’s extremely spacious, beautifully decorated and with all the little details, it really does feel like a home away from home, somewhere you can be immediately relaxed and enjoy.

Great Views and Swimming Pool Fun
As a family of four, we loved having all the space and Cherryfish would definitely be perfect for a larger family, but for us, the outside area was certainly where we spent most of our time, having BBQ’s with island friends and sitting out in the sun with a cold glass of something and enjoying watching and playing with the children in the pool! As music lovers, the sound system, part of the overall high tech program, was a real treat for us, and was great for enjoying music all around the house and even outside, making for a great atmosphere to enjoy a few beers, dinner alfresco, or even at breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool. And, the kitchen was superb too, a real pleasure to cook in, with high spec appliances and beautiful design. It really was the heart of the home, as is ours back in the UK.

Romantic Escape
The master suite was enormous, walk in his and hers wardrobes (plenty of space and more for a suitcase worth of holiday clothes) and with a big, luxurious bathroom, freestanding roll top bath, double walk in shower and your own private balcony, it really did make us feel like we were in a top class hotel and not a rental home. And another little thing, almost hidden, was the roof top look out, a spiral staircase leading up to the highest part of the house, which looked out 360 degrees across the marina, Tampa Bay and the island. It was just amazing and a real little romantic hide-away on the rooftop!!
Top Location
The location of Cherryfish was absolutely perfect for us too. We loved cycling in the morning along South Bay Boulevard, which runs parallel with Tampa Bay Beach, up to Pine Avenue, where we would go to Relish Café for coffee and breakfast, or to our favourite restaurant The Waterfront, which looks out across the water and the City Pier: just a fabulous spot and fantastic food! We cycled everywhere, and it really is just a wonderful way to enjoy the island, and it’s so safe for the children and of course the weather is just beautiful!
Cherryfish was just a fantastic house; we fell in love with it as soon as we walked up the steps and in through the front door. Everything about the house, from the décor, to the layout, to the furnishings, has been done with true integrity and care and makes Cherryfish a home and not a rental. This is what for us made Cherryfish so special for us! We cannot wait to go back.
