    Anna Maria Island Wedding Community

The weather on Anna Maria Island will start to cool down soon, which means that wedding season will once again be upon us.

We’ve already talked with some credentialed Island experts to bring you tips on tricks on having a great destination wedding. Now we share some of our favorite local vendors who will help make your destination wedding Island getaway even better.

    Hometown Desserts Anna Maria

Nestled in the Anna Maria Island Historic Green Village is a sweet and charming bakery called Hometown Desserts.

The name is humble, and the charming whimsical storefront can only be described as cute, but don’t let any of that fool you - this is one serious bakery. Cindy Tutterow is just a sweet and charming as her shop but she makes some of the most elegant and luscious cakes we’ve ever tasted.

Her white coconut cake is fluffy and sweet and ethereal. It’s beautiful enough to eat on your wedding day, and delicious enough to eat every day of your life!

    Massage Therapy Connections

Massage Therapy Connections isn’t actually in Anna Maria – it’s in nearby Lakewood Ranch – but it’s a place you’ll definitely want to have in your speed dial.

Planning a wedding can be stressful, and traveling to a destination wedding can certainly make you tense. Massage Therapy Connections specializes in medical massage that is as physically therapeutic as it is soothing and relaxing.

When you get married you want to remember the looks on people’s faces and the happiness in your heart, not the painful knots in your neck. Also, while you’re there, you should totally indulge in a Bellanina facelift massage: it will completely rejuvenate your face and make you look younger, smoother, and glowier (note: make sure the bride also gets one of these so you don’t outshine her – it’s only polite).

    Sandbar Restaurant

The Sandbar Restaurant on Anna Maria Island is well-known for their ability to put on a super smooth wedding of any size. They have it all: food, cocktails, a nice covered area to sit, and a beautiful beachfront view.

They’re also within walking distance of several Pineapplefish properties, so you’ll have a short walk home whether it’s to the honeymoon or the after party.

    Body &Sol Spa and Wellness

Anna Maria is a small town, so you might not expect it to have a world-class spa. But right on Gulf Drive, you’ll find an incredible 3,000 square foot spa that offers everything from massage, to manicures, to makeup, to skin care, to waxing, to updos.

They even have an 800-square foot yoga studio. Body & Sol takes care of more bridal parties than anyone else on Anna Maria Island for good reason. No matter what kind of wedding you’re having, they can help you prepare for your special day.

Have you got married on Anna Maria Island, we would love to hear about your big day. Let us know if there were any Island businesses that we haven’t mentioned that made your day that extra bit special!
